Programmable logic controller (PLC)

Software Development

  • Engineering of the hardware components according to the circuitry documents (e.g. Eplan)
  • Importing the symbol table from the circuitry documents
  • Programming the safety components
  • Creating the user modules
  • Programming all control components for manual operation
  • Creating the sequence step chains for the automatic sequence
  • Creating the visualization

Online

In addition, we offer the option of installing remote maintenance devices in your system. This allows for swift fault diagnosis and quick and easy troubleshooting without the need for lengthy and costly travel. As all areas from planning, control cabinet construction and wiring through to programming are carried out in-house, we are able to undertake pre-commissioning at our premises and thus keep commissioning times short.

Controls:

  • TIA Portal
  • Siemens Simatic S7 failsafe
  • Siemens Simatic S5
  • Bosch
  • Beckhoff
  • Allen Bradley
  • PILZ (safety controller)

Fieldbus Systems

The various fieldbus systems, which can be used as follows, are playing an increasingly important role in automation technology:

  • Coupling controls
  • Connecting control systems or visualization systems
  • Connecting robot systems
  • Connecting to decentralized I/O modules

These fieldbus systems reduce the wiring effort in a system considerably, as the wiring of the modules and controllers and modules to each other is usually limited to a single cable.

Fieldbus systems in use:

  • Profibus DP
  • Profibus FMS
  • Profinet
  • AS-Interface
  • Interbus
  • ControlNet
  • DeviceNet
  • Modbus
  • TCP/IP
  • MPI
  • PPI
  • SINEC H1
  • SINEC L1
  • free ASCII protocol for special applications

Visualization Systems

Visualization systems serve to operate and monitor a system. They provide the operator with information on the status of the individual system parts and on faults that occur or have occurred in the system. They can also be used to record trends, e.g. for temperatures, speeds, etc. Data is exchanged with the PLC via various fieldbus systems. The visualizations we use are PC-based HMI systems, such as Simatic-WinCC or InTouch, or special operation terminals as text or graphic displays.

Visualization systems in use:

  • Siemens ComText
  • SWAC-Tableau
  • SWAC WinTouch 2000
  • Simatico
  • Allen Bradley PanelBuilder
  • Allen Bradley ME Studio
  • Simatic ProToo
  • Simatic WinCC
  • Simatic WinCC flexible
