EDAG Engineering Austria GmbH has begun certification in the field of project management. The first three employees have successfully completed their exams.

The International Project Management Association (IPMA) is a globally recognized organization that defines standards in project management and offers corresponding certifications. These are based on scientific principles and have proven themselves over decades across a wide range of sectors – both in public institutions and in business and industry. The certification system comprises several levels, ranging from Basic up to the highest level, Level A.

The project management team at EDAG Austria already has extensive practical experience, which is now further validated through IPMA certifications.

Daniel Aichberger, Lars Hanisch, and Manfred Keppel have successfully achieved Level D. Additional employees are already scheduled for certification, and planning for higher levels is also underway.

“With the certification in project management, we are strengthening another pillar of our site concept in order to position ourselves more broadly for the future,” said Managing Director Markus Mekina regarding the first successfully passed exams.

With this, EDAG Austria is reinforcing the structured and standardized implementation of projects and creating an even more reliable foundation for quality, transparency, and planning certainty.
